Young Bae was at shocked. He had a blank look on his face and the crowd of people didn’t exist to him. The amount of frantic voices against him, wondering what was going on. He couldn’t speak and the image of the blood and the girl’s body was permanently in his head. 

“Is that blood?" 

"Oh my god! Someone Call the police please!" 

"What’s going on?" 

"Young Bae ah~ What in the world-? is that paint?" 

"You killed her?" 

Chae’s voice was the one person he could recognize from the crowd, and while everyone was on their way to get helped. He stood there, hoping Chae would believe him. "She’s dead…”He says in a monotone voice looking into the dark hallway across the building. He didn’t keep eye contact with Chae until he turned his head. His voice trembled and his hands shook with fright. “I-I saw her… S-she’s dead,”

Suddenly loud footsteps came down from the stairs not too far from them. He started to have a flashback of his own footsteps coming down from the same stairs. 

“Someone killed her!!! HELP! Kim Is dead!" 

"I didn’t kill anyone…” Young Bae buried his head into his hands as he spoke to Chaerin. “All I did was saw her body… I dont even know who she is! I didn’t know I stepped into her pile of blood..” He paused as he heard the sirens of the police outside the building. “you believe me right?”

Hearing the crowds accusations shot at Youngbae, Chaerin couldn’t help but stand there frozen in her spot in shock.

How could anyone accuse someone of something like this?

Were they all blind to see the state the other was in?

Enraged, she stepped closer to Youngbae, ignoring all the chaos around them. Her friend needed her now more than anything else. She placed a hand on his arm just in time to hear the sirens outside the building. She has never been this scared in her life. Chaerin knew that once the police lay eyes on him, he’d instantly be suspect number one. But she was not going to stand there and let him go through this alone, she believed him and there was no question about that. 

"The police is here!”

“Clear the way.”

Hearing those words and the sound of footsteps following soon after, she leaned in closer to the other and spoke clearly to the Youngbae.

“Listen to me Youngbae, I know you didn’t kill anyone okay? I believe you."
